Alabama

At I-10  EXIT 53 is HillTop RV Park near Robertsdale, AL.  This was our 2 day travel stop during the wind and extreme cold temps.  Got down to 19 degrees.  Cold!  A couple campers had problems...frozen pipe to burst and another whose 1/2 bath dripping faucet filled up the black tank overflowing into the rig as the owner thought the pipe drained into the open grey tank.  A rude way to learn your rig.
J had laundry detail pulling my laundry cart.  He said that when in the Army he at least got to fly the laundry plane.  LOL  He did get a big hug from the host and enjoyed lots of chat with the guys at the club house while I enjoyed the ladies as they came in to do their wash.  Five ladies from Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, and NC.

HillTop RV Park is a great park.  Like a can of sardines; but, that comes in handy with these cold temps.  It is an Adult Only park.  Warm club house with nice book library...get one/leave one.  Warm laundry with hot water.  Hot showers.  Propane available.  FREE Wi-Fi.  Folk are very friendly and bend over backwards to make your stay comfy and great.  Learned there is a good Mexican restaurant nearby at I-10 EXIT 38 with BOGO on Wednesdays.
A drive into town I saw my frist stockyard.  Looks like this is cattle country.  Heading for MS next.
See you by the campfire.
